Milk for the Orangutans

Your gift of £20 can buy two orangutans at Sepilok, a whole month’s supply of milk!

In the wild, baby orangutans will drink milk from their mothers for the first three and a half years of their lives. The orangutans being rehabilitated at the Sepilok Rehabilitation Centre have lost their mothers, so they are fed milk by human carers. When the orangutans are small babies, they are bottle fed milk, but as they become older, they drink milk from a tray and are eventually weaned off.

Your gift can help the orangutans get the essential nourishment they need at a young age, to allow them to grow big and strong so that they can be eventually released.
