Thank you Vision Primary School Sandakan!

We are so thankful to all the students, staff, and parents who have helped fundraise for life-saving clinic equipment for the orangutans at Sepilok Orangutan Rehabilitation Centre.

Vision Primary School is located in Sandakan, less than 30 minutes away from Sepilok in the state of Sabah, Malaysia. The school is part of the Vision School network, which is a group of schools that focuses on providing quality education to students in Malaysia.

The school's mathematics department wanted to teach students the importance of saving and organised the fundraiser with a total of 203 students counting weekly savings towards a fundraising pot. Students raised over RM6,000 which was split between Orangutan Appeal UK and another charity.

Members of the school received a certificate of appreciation from Charity Manager, Adrienne and Chairperson Jacha during their recent trip to Borneo.

Adrienne said on the school's dedication to fundraising: "We give enormous thanks to Vision Primary School in support of our charity's work at Sepilok Orangutan Rehabilitation Centre. Their generous donation towards clinic equipment will help in providing the necessary care.

"We are proud to have such compassionate and dedicated supporters, and we hope that their kindness inspires others to take action in protecting these magnificent creatures and their habitat."
